Repetitive Strain Injuries

RSI is an injury that is often associated with office work such as typing or using the mouse of a computer several hours every day.

It is thought that this use can break down the healthy tissue and cause damage and, as the use is ongoing, there can be poor chances for healing, which is why RSI often gets chronic.

Once the injury is chronic, even rest may not cure the pain.

RSI is a description for a wide range of problems, which typically are located in the neck, shoulder, elbow or wrist.

Elbow and shoulder pain can, in many cases, be treated with shock wave therapy. This is a high energy treatment, that kick-starts healing of the injured tissue and carries a high success rate with more than 80% of patients reporting improvements.

We also offer treatment of other RSI type injuries, with mobilisation, stretches and exercises, which to a large degree can help these and similar problems.
